I am a dreamer. I am always looking to the future. Planning a trip to a foreign land. Discovering a new place I must live. Coming across a career I must have (the latest was a helicopter pilot giving tours of the Florida Keys). You get the point. I have a hard time staying in the present moment. In the now, if you must.
I love this time of year, the change of seasons, the crisp air. Fall is here. It’s a time to go within. Hibernation season is just around the corner, along with the end of this year, and for me, the end of this decade. I think this is the perfect time to celebrate. Celebrate how far you have come this year. The triumphs you have overcome. The grandparents you have put to rest. The lovers you have met. The lovers you have lost. The places you have traveled. The places you wish to see. Celebrate your family. The friends you have made. The friends you have lost. The items you have checked off your “to do” list. The items that will you never get to. Just celebrate. Celebrate you.
